So I was excited to go and decided to drive 40 miles to the theater where it was screened..Good choice, Certainly thought it was value for money for and a good start to the weekend!
Surya plays both the prodigal son and the loving father. Loved the colorful start to the first half of the movie; an innocent, carefree life growing up and good times in college..evokes fond memories of my own. Sameera Reddy, the graceful beauty that steals is heart and a tragic twist...
Whats plays out after that is a very interesting portrayal of man yearning to figure out his purpose - his passion - Fortunately, the movie plays out well and he does end up finding a journey(yes I say journey than a destination..).
Alas life simply not as simple as a 3 hr movie where the actor gets paid a handsome sum to enjoy doing what he or she does - play a character; There are those among us(or rather most of us) who cannot afford such a luxury - We search on for simple victories, poignant truths, to make us believe that such a happy endings are possible in our lives as well..And I walked about the theater wondering about my own quest for glory; for that exotic quality called success and its evil twin peace.. =)
Bottom-line - Certainly worth watching
